CineControl for ARRI 2.0

CineControl for ARRI is a sophisticated mobile application that provides comprehensive management of essential camera settings for ARRI cameras via an intuitive user interface. The application is compatible with the ALEXA Mini, ALEXA LF, ALEXA 35, and Amira models. While full control features are accessible exclusively on the ALEXA Mini, LF, and 35, users of other models can only utilize CAP1.0 functionalities. The Control Module is designed to facilitate efficient monitoring and management of ARRI ALEXA Mini and Amira cameras even in challenging setups, such as when mounted on cranes, dollies, or gimbals. It includes key features such as:

The Looks Module offers access to the complete ARRI Look Library. If the connected camera possesses a valid license for the library, users can install looks directly through the app. Otherwise, inquiries can be made with ARRI or the library can be purchased here: ARRI Look Library. Additionally, this module allows users to edit looks using color wheels and sliders, as well as save and share their modifications.

The Playback Module enables remote control of playback without direct interaction with the camera. This functionality allows users to view relevant takes for each clip (provided the Takes Module is activated) and rate them accordingly.

The Takes Module streamlines the logging process for script supervisors by allowing metadata editing and easy documentation of takes in manual mode. Users can also capture or import images from the Photos app for quick identification of each take. Once connected, the app autonomously logs each take as recording starts and stops on the camera. Frame grabs can be enabled in Settings to capture a frame from every take.

This module further permits users to assign ratings and add notes related to each take, syncing seamlessly with Cinegizmo to allow access for directors, DOPs, DITs, and post-production teams anytime, anywhere.

The free version of CineControl restricts users to monitoring camera settings only. To gain full command over the camera via the app, a valid account with Cinegizmo is required.
